Redeemer Bible Church continues to play a vital role in the evangelistic outreach to the youth and people of Hungary, where less than 3% of the population are evangelical believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Based on the overwhelming need to share the gospel in Hungary, Redeemer annually sends a group of dedicated volunteers to help teach English, Baseball, and American Football at this year’s Word of Life Hungary Summer Camp.
Officially started in 1989 post-communism Hungary, Word of Life (https://en.eletszava.org/) focuses on three major areas of outreach: the first is their summer camp, where over 1,000 Hungarian youth hear the Gospel annually (and every year, hundreds respond); the second area is a two-year Bible Institute, with a total enrollment of about 50 international students; and thirdly, Word of Life Bible Clubs operate in churches across Hungary.
We are tremendously excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord in Hungary. We seek your prayerful support and are inviting you to personally partner with us in this ministry. If you are willing to pray for and help our team reach Hungary, please do so! We will be blogging for the duration of our trip for people to follow along with what’s going on.
If you are able to help us financially, please make your check or money order payable to “Redeemer Bible Church” (and write “Hungary Missions Trip” on the memo line).
Any funds raised by us will pay our airfare and lodging as well as provide camp supplies (books, sports equipment, etc.). All funds raised will be used to directly support this trip, the children of Hungary, and Redeemer Bible Church’s involvement in other summer missions projects. Accounting of all funds will be available, should you desire, upon our return from Hungary. Any donations exceeding the amount required to fund our missions trip to Hungary will go toward future Redeemer Bible Church missions trips and projects.
We humbly thank you for your following us, for your prayers, and any financial support. May the Lord grant you His peace and bless you abundantly!
